Building a home is one of the most thrilling and amazing things you'll ever do. But it's also one of the most stressful things too! One wrong color pick... one misplaced wall... one option you didn't add... and once you've signed on the dotted line, that's it. You can't change your mind. What's crazy is all these color and style decisions you made won't be ready for 12-14 months later. And you know how fast styles change! You need a crystal ball to predict what's going to be the big thing in 12 months from now. Maybe gourmet kitchens will disappear. Maybe all countertops will be dark inductive stoves by then. Maybe there'll be a new carbon fiber floor material that's a must have. Maybe tiled backsplashes became as old-school as mullet haircuts. Maybe we'll have flying cars. We just don't know!
